1954 Monark Super Twin - 1Owner before John- Owner John Stansbury
I was told by John this was a one owner bike! There was a lot of criticism on the authenticity of this Monark and that Monark
was still producing a bike still in 1954.
Well it is confirmed! I just received a frame of a Monark ST that I thought was reworked. But it is the same frame as John's Monark
with the badge under the bottom bracket displaying ST54. The Difference in the Frame are No Fork Stop because the 1954 used the
Late Model Monark Fork (Schwinn Copy Cat Springer) Different Badge and Changed numbers on the Serial number plate.
At this point I have only seen ST49 and ST54 on the Serial Plate under the Bottom Bracket. If you have a Monark please Report in if you have a different number other than ST49 or ST54.
